Applying that knowledge to a real aquaphobic person
Delivered as a 4.5–5 hour tutor-led session (online or in person), CTA 2 is a highly interactive, small-group experience designed to build your confidence in assessment, interviewing, and lesson planning.

How the Course Works
Practical, Role-Based Learning
You’ll work in pairs using real case studies, taking turns to:
· Act as the aquaphobic client
· Act as the coach conducting the interview and assessment

You will:
· Ask structured questions
· Analyse responses
· Generate a percentage score of aquaphobia
This gives you a clear, objective starting point for planning.
Applying the Fear Curve
You’ll identify where your client sits on the ALP Fear Curve, allowing you to:
· Understand triggers and limitations
· Adjust your coaching approach
· Plan safe, progressive sessions
